All the houses located in Žukova Bay are of the Robinson type and do not have electricity from the city network, but receive electricity with solar power. Deep cove Žukova, is located 6 km away from Vela Luka, of which the back of the road is macadam. The bay faces the island of Hvar and is surrounded by a pine forest. In the bay there are a couple of cottages that in the past served as a safe haven in case of bad weather for fishermen.
