The complex is located 250 m from the Adriatic Sea and 3 km from the center of the city of Umag, which is run by the promenade. It offers a modern water park with numerous swimming pools and other water attractions.

The 35th edition of ATP tournament Plava laguna Croatia Open Umag will be held from 18 to 27 July 2025 in ATP stadium Goran Ivanišević in Stella Maris.
