Cerkno

Situated at the junction of Gorenjska and Primorska region and in the heart of the Škofjeloško-Cerkljansko mountains Ski resort Cerkno offers many opportunities for the outdoor activities in winter as well as in summer. Due to increased investments in the lift system in the last few years, Cerkno is considered one of the most modern Slovenian ski resorts. The popularity of this ski resort is increasing also due to an excellent ski school and the variety of family discounts and packages.

Cerkno Ski Centre is a family resort with approximately 11 miles of ski runs spread on 70 acres of land. The ski slopes are suitable for suitable for beginners, intermediate and experienced skiers and snowboarders. For cross country skiers there is approximately 1 mile of pisted tracks, while the latest acquisition of the ski resort is the Mungo Snow Park with a set of objects, ramps, boxes and tubes for both beginners as well as the advanced skiers and freestyle riders.

For a refresment before, during and after skiing go to the restaurant on top of the ski area which is opened also in summer. The restaurant facilities include a children´s playground and a ski kindergarten.
