The Disentis-Sedrun winter sports region really does leave nothing to be desired and offers plenty of variety both on and off piste. Disentis has a cable car up to the Caischavedra where there are chair lifts up to an altitude of nearly 3000 m above sea level, meaning that a good covering of snow is guaranteed. With 60 km of pistes, there is something to suit skiers of all abilities. Indeed, Disentis is known to be a paradise for free-riders, tourers and variant skiers of all kinds.
