You will find our holiday homes on a south-facing slope above the village of Ledenitzen, four kilometres from Lake Faak and 12 km from Lake Wörthersee. Here you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the rural surroundings after a day at the lake beach or after your full day's excursion programme and enjoy the wide view of the Mittagskogel and along the Karawanken chain.

Families, best friends will find the ideal place to slow down and recharge their batteries.


The special additional treat

Private beach use at Lake Faak is included in the accommodation price. Your private beach has a shaded car park, sunbathing lawn, bathhouse and beach café. You can reach the private beach in 15 minutes by bike and in 5 minutes by car. The private beach is not open to the public.

Living:

The holiday home has an area of 55 sqm.  It was originally built in the style of Carinthian alpine huts. We have equipped the house with kitchenette, shower bath, fireplace and additional electric heating; the original alpine hut flair could be preserved. The house is partly furnished with original farmhouse furniture. The living area consists of a large cosy corner bench facing the open fireplace. A kitchenette, washing machine and bath/WC complete the equipment. Two bedrooms each have two single beds.  SAT-TV and WLAN are available. On the small terrace at the entrance and on the lawn for sunbathing and playing, which belongs to the house, you will feel comfortable not only in summer.

Provisioning: Self-catering

The holiday house is especially suitable for guests who do not want to stick to fixed time schedules during their holidays and thus can pursue their holiday activities without a rigid daily schedule.

Shopping facilities are available in Faak, Egg and Drobollach. There are two restaurants in the village. We are happy to give you further inn or restaurant recommendations, whether for the region around Lake Faak and Wörthersee or for the border regions of Slovenia and Italy.

Activities:

Lake Faak is the classic holiday region for family bathing holidays on the lake beach.

Almost all water sports are offered on Lake Faak and Lake Wörthersee.

Varied hiking trails and sporty Karawanken MTB trails in Finkenstein are within easy reach. Cycling tours along the Drau to the west into the Drau valley or to the east far into the Rosental valley contain only small ascents and can be easily mastered. All other sports such as sport climbing, golf, sailing, stand up paddling are offered in the catchment area of the lake.

The interesting border area to Italy and Slovenia can be reached via the Loiblpass, the Wurzenpass and Tarvis and invites to discovery tours on foot, by bike, by MTB, by motorbike or by car.



  The accommodation price includes bed linen, dish towels and towels. Additional costs: electricity according to consumption at the current daily rate, final cleaning € 60, local tax € 2.00 per pers. and day, children up to 17 years are exempt.
